About Raiii (that's a me!)

Hi! I'm Raiii. My gender is fluid, so use any pronouns. I am very new to this whole website thing but I'm very excited to keep working on it! I live in Southern California, and I have a BA in history and my work is related. Sometimes my interest in history will come up, but not often. I like to keep my professional life and personal life very separate. Like how the sims do it lol.

I'm currently watching Golden Girls and I'm craving orange juice SO bad right now T^T.

I apologize for my writing style. I have ADHD and requently forget to medicate (especially withthe shortage). I try to break it up and make it readable as much as possible ;u;

I am also Jewish. My identity and community is important to me, even if I am not truly religious. Did you know atheist Jews can exist? While I'm on the topic, since it's a question I've gotten before: I do not support the Israeli government's treatment of Palestinians as second-class citizens.

Another thing about me is that I am aromantic. Which for many aros, is a cool part of their identity. But for me, it has honestly been a struggle, and it's something that may come up every now and then. I am one of those unlucky bastards they fell in love with the concept of love, only to realize pretty late into the game that I can't feel it in the way others do. So, I cope by burying myself in the relationships of fictional characters, including my OCs lol!

One weird aspect though is that while I struggle to hold romantic feelings for real people, it's a little different with fictional characters. I think it's because I like the idea, but if it were real I would not be able to go through with it. I've had a number of fictional crushes over the years (and god, they really show a pattern), but almost all of them have faded lol. One remains. Who? It IS a mystery.
